My experience for Weekend tour in Sundarban

The Sundarbans, located in the southern part of West Bengal which is one of the largest mangrove forests in the world. It is also known as the home of the Royal Bengal Tigers, saltwater crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. Every year, thousands of tourists visit the Sundarbans to experience its natural beauty and explore the enjoyment of wildlife.

We have always heard about the wildlife and natural beauty of the Sundarbans, but we never got a chance to see it until last month. It was a long weekend, and we decided to plan a trip to the Sundarbans. We booked our tickets in advance and packed our bags for the wild adventure with an experienced Sundarban tour operator.

We started our journey in the early morning and reached Sundarbans traveling around 3.30hrs by ac vehicle. After reaching Sundarban we feel the cool breeze and the sound of the waves welcomed us. We checked into our hotel and rested for a while before starting our exploration.

Our first stop was the Sundarbans National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our travel agency has a strong tour guide team who have taken us on a boat ride through the dense mangrove forest. While passing through the narrow river, we saw various wild animals including crocodiles, monkeys, wolves, deer, and birds. Although we have not seen tigers during our boat riding but also we have seen the steps of tigers in the riversides. From this, we have believed tigers come to the riverside sometimes for searching their food.

After the boat ride, we went for a nature walk through the mangrove forest. We were amazed by the biodiversity of the area and our guide showed us a variety of plants and trees, including the famous sundae tree used to make boats. It gives us pleasure this summer also.

In the evening we went to a nearby village and talked to the local people. We learned about their daily life and culture and enjoyed a delicious meal of fresh seafood and local vegetable.

The next day, we went on an exciting adventure to explore the Sundarbans on foot. We wandered through the dense forest and encountered a variety of wildlife including snakes, spiders, and deer. Being so close to nature was an unforgettable experience.

In the evening, we went on a night safari to explore the nocturnal wildlife. We saw various animals, such as owls, tigers, and jackals. We also saw the amazing sight of the stream of fire lighting up the night sky.

On the last day of our trip, we took a boat to explore the Sundarban Islands. We visited various islands including the famous Sajnekhali Island with a wildlife sanctuary and a watch tower. We also visited Dobanki Island, known for its wall walking and bird watching. From these watching towers we got an opportunity to watch wild animals closely with the best safety which is amazing. Really, our minds are refreshed quickly and some of our friends have been forced to stay for another day. But it was impossible for us because it was a weekend tour. Nature is amazing in Sundarban that will attract everybody once more to Sundarban surely.

As our journey came to an end, we realized that we had experienced a wild, wild weekend in the Sundarbans. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we will cherish the memories for a long time. The natural beauty and biodiversity of the Sundarbans were truly amazing, and we felt grateful to have seen them for ourselves. We left with a new appreciation for nature and a desire to return soon.
